About Dr. Justin Beaufort
Dr. Justin Beaufort is a proud native of North Charleston, South Carolina. A graduate of North Charleston High School, Dr. Beaufort has built an impressive academic and professional legacy rooted in education, leadership, and community impact.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration from Morris College, a distinguished HBCU in Sumter, SC. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, he received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. In 2018, Dr. Beaufort completed his Doctorate in Psychology from the University of the Rockies in Denver, CO.
Dr. Beaufort currently serves as the President of Highstar Academy and Highstar Hoops, where he mentors and empowers youth through education, athletics, and character development. He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the author of the autobiography Be Yaself, a powerful reflection on authenticity and perseverance. His entrepreneurial spirit extends to his Be Yaself Clothing Line, a brand that embodies self-confidence and purpose.
In recognition of his community leadership, the City of North Charleston honors Dr. Beaufort with his own day every fourth Saturday in June.
Known for his self-motivated, energetic, and outgoing personality, Dr. Beaufort continues to inspire others to embrace their purpose and “Be Yaself.”
